A lot of souls flying around me. There it goes, from thousands of them I somehow ended up with the amazing ones. The lovely and caring ones that stick with you no matter what. The ones who understand and appreciate you just the way you are.
I took a few deep breaths, a thought of by tribe passed my mind, and my heart started smiling. You know the feeling when you smile with your whole body, mind and spirit? That smile. It counts more than any other smile ever. The smile for my tribe, I should call it.
Many people passed through my life in the past few years. Some of them called themselves my friends, some of them lovers and some couldn’t even name the relation. I’m grateful for those people because they showed me what love isn’t. They taught me a great lession. They taught me forgiveness and appreciation. But this post is not about them.
Those few who stood by me are the ones that matter. Now I know how to appreciate them even more, because the others taught me how not to do it. I’m sincerely grateful to those ‘sparks’ of people who can feel what I feel, who can know and who can love. The ones whos presence I feel even if they’re not around. I’d turn the globe upside down for those people. They are my tribe.
THE tribe is a group of people (or at times only few, even one) in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.
THAT is your tribe. And you’re supposed to love them hard.
Every second, every minute and every hour of your life.
